In bridge, it is usually best to avoid a suit bid by the opponents. A suit bid by partner is often the best choice. In no-trumps, if your partner has not shown a long suit, it is normal to lead your longest suit not bid by the opponents. If the suits are equally long, the suit that has more high cards is preferred.
